In 1974 DeWitt became one of the first pre-hospital cardiac care providers in New York State. Personnel also provided citizen CPR training in cooperation with the Town of DeWitt Parks and Recreation Department's "Save-a-Life" course. The equipment was purchased with the help of the DeWitt Rotary Club beginning the long tradition of providing high quality first-response advanced life support EMS to our residents. Today we salute all those who have been and continue to be part of our team.
